Alan Duretz, President

Alan Duretz, born in 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Philadelphia University in 1971. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1976.

Mr. Duretz spent ten years in the construction industry, eventually developing a specialty in hospital, nursing home, and institutional projects. After relocating to Florida in 1990, choosing to change the pace of his career, he joined a national rehabilitation company (Rehabworks) as the administrator of their behavioral health division. Following their merger with Horizon/CMS, he was promoted to the Director of Outpatient Services. He later joined Counseling Affiliates, P.A., (Wellness Senior Services) as their administrator, until forming InSight in March of 1996.

During his time at Counseling Affiliates, he completed the MBA requirements in Healthcare Administration from LaSalle University, and held several appointed positions in the Florida Health Care Association. In March of 1998, Mr. Duretz was an invited participant of the Healthcare Impact Conference at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. More recently, Mr. Duretz earned the Certified Compliance Professional designation and HIPAA certification in 2001.
